"I would like to thank everyone who has joined my mission with courage and dedication."

Margot Friedländer

The Margot Friedländer Prize honors individuals who, through their actions and initiatives, promote tolerance, humanity, freedom and democracy, and who contribute to raising awareness about the Holocaust and antisemitism—for example, in schools, at universities, in parents’ groups, associations, companies or citizens’ initiatives. The prize has been awarded by the Margot Friedländer Foundation since 2024 and carries a grant of €25,000.

"I kindly ask you, if you know people or organizations who are committed in my spirit, to nominate them for the Margot Friedländer Award. Because this commitment is incredibly important. Important for the future of our country, important for you."
